ALL BECAUSE REALTOR MIKE KENNEDY WANTED HIS PROPERTY VALUES UP
Garfield County relied on statements from Mike Kennedy, Christopher BeBe and Charles Cady one of which was quoted in the newspaper seriously twisting the truth, when he implied he had lived on Willow Lane before the Vezzoso's. Bill Vezzoso Jr. grew up playing with the neighbor's kid, then a bed and breakfast was there, then Mr. Backster lived there, then Mr. Kennedy moved in June of 1998 (12 years after the Vezzoso's). Mike Kennedy testified that he wrote the anonymous letter in front of the BOA (P119 L22). We wonder why he tried to make it seem like he didn't write it. How does the BOA, McCown and Trési Houpt take Mike Kennedy's word over the Vezzoso's when he wrote down his motives in the complaint? But Garfield County took Mr. Kennedy's statements as fact as opposed to accepting the information the Vezzoso's gave them. As in his letter, Mike Kennedy is trying to get his property values up and convinced one or more of the commissioners to go along with it.
Could it be that Mike Kennedy convinced the other neighbors that The Vezzoso's property was making their "values go down 25%-30%" and they needed to go along with him to get their property values up? Read Mike Kennedy's "anonymous" complaint and decide yourself. Could it be that Mike Kennedy is a Realtor, who also is supposed to be an ethical person, was trying to serve his own interests by orchestrating this entire dog and pony show to take Mr. Vezzoso's rights away that were there 12 years before he even moved to Willow Lane? Could it really be that Trési Houpt and/or McCown and/or other county officials (Mark Bean/DeFord) and Mr. Kennedy planned this out together? The "anonymous" complaint called Trési out by name. It does make you wonder if "someone" didn't help coach "someone" on how to "get rid" of the Vezzosos. It should also be noted that Mike Kennedy shot the Vezzoso's dog and claimed it was because it was chasing their horses
